Reviews by Teens
Rating - 4 out of 5 bugs
"I think so because like her other scary stories, this one was no less. It also kept the thrill and suspense of the characters and their actions going. You wanted to keep reading till the end."

"Interesting book. Showed teen conflicts - like first crush and first kiss. Proved that friendship is way more important than a boy. 3 thumbs up!"

Book Review - Kissing the Bee by Kathe Koja

Dana and Avra have been best friends throughout high school. As the end of senior year approaches, Dana and Avra are still inseparable, but they have an addition to their group -- Avra's boyfriend,Emil. Dana never told Avra that she was in love with Emil too, and it is becoming harder and harder for her to be around the two of them. Avra has plans to run away after prom to escape her insufferable parents, and it is assumed that Emil is going with her. But lately, it doesn't seem like Emil wants to leave town...or Dana. Avra always said if anything ever happened to her that Emil and Dana should carry on. Carry on what? Will Dana do the "right thing" like she always does? What is the "right thing"?
This was a great story and a quick read.
