The City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
Clary is at a club in NYC with her friend Simon when she spies a good looking boy following a beautiful girl into a storage area. She is a little disappointed that he wasn't interested in her and starts to turn away. Then she watches two other boys follow the couple into the storage area. These boys have weapons and Clary is scared. She follows them and watches as they kill the other boy. She goes to run, but she is stopped. The body is no longer there. It has disappeared in front of her eyes. She is just introduced to the Shadowhunters that had just killed a demon. They are as shocked as she is that she was able to see any of what was going on.
Follow this adventure into a world of demons, vampires, werewolves, and the people that hunt them. Great fantasy read and I am looking forward to reading the sequel.

This author is a known plagiarist. Cassandra Claire. Look it up.
This book was awesome. There's a little bit of everything for everyone. I could not put this book down, and the sequels are just as good. Hey Anonymous, regardless of the author being known for plagiarizing, it's still a really great book.
