A 13-year old girl named Megan Meier killed herself after being distraught by bullying via Myspace from a boy named Josh Evans. Megan and Josh had been Myspace friends, exchanging messages and all that other good stuff that goes along with those Myspace friends you have, but have never met in real life. Except one day Josh turned on Megan, and started posting hate filled bulletins about her. Megan was so upset, she hung herself in her parents house.
And now, it turns out, that Josh wasn't real. He was a made up profile by the parent of a girl Megan used to be friends with. The mother of Megan's ex-friend invented Josh so she could dig up information about Megan and use it against her.
